Leave it to Kabbalah to fill in the blanks. On one hand, everyone seems to know that the Land of Israel is special, and some of the simpler differences can be articulated by most.
But there is this “other-worldliness” about the Land that many sense, even on a soul level, but which they don’t understand. Does it really make a difference where in the world you pray? Does it make a difference if your learn Torah in the Diaspora? You better believe it.
