Two mortar shells exploded in the Golan Heights on Monday evening, the IDF stated, striking an open area near the Quneitra valley. 

One person is suffering from shock and is being treated on-site.

No further injuries or damage were reported.  

IDF officials estimate that the shells were spillover from neighboring Syria. 

IDf forces are surveying the area now to find pieces of the shells and determine their exact origin.
