Judy Nir Moses Shalom – whose husband, Silvan Shalom, is Interior Minister – tweeted an offensive joke about US President Barack Obama Sunday, and then apologized for it.

“Do you know what Obama Coffee is? Black and weak,” she had tweeted.

Shortly afterward, she deleted the tweet and wrote: “I apologize, it was a stupid joke someone told me.”

“It was a silly mistake and I apologized,” she told Channel 2 News.

Silvan Shalom is also Vice Prime Minister and in charge of strategic dialogue with the US. His wife is an heiress of the Yedioth Aharonoth news empire and a media personality.
