Clashes broke out overnight Tuesday between IDF troops and Palestinian Arabs during an IDF operation in the village of Surif, north of Hevron.

The sides reportedly exchanged gunfire, after the troops encountered riots in the village and responded by using riot control measures.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that in the exchange of fire, three Palestinian Arabs were injured. Their condition is unknown.

There are no reported casualties among the Israeli troops.

Palestinian media also reported that electricity to local villages was cut off.
