An Arab terrorist attempted a car-ramming attack on Sunday afternoon at the Maccabim security checkpoint near Modi’in on Route 443. 

According to first reports, there are no injuries in the incident. 

The terrorist reportedly broke through the security checkpoint and attempted to run over Israeli soldiers. The soldiers fired on the terrorist, injuring him critically. 

Earlier on Sunday, three Israelis were injured in a shooting attack on a military checkpoint near Bet El in the Binyamin region of Samaria. 

Two of victims are listed in serious condition, while the third was lightly injured by gunfire. All three were evacuated to hospitals after receiving emergency treatment at the scene.
